Kyabje Pabongka Rinpoche on the last part of a famous prayer of supplication to the
lineage lamas of the Lamrim tradition--popularly known as "Source of All My
Good" and "Begging for a Mountain of Blessings." These fourteen verses,
composed by Je Tsongkapa, are a concise presentation of all the key elements in the path
to enlightenment. The first nine present the essential topics of the path that are common
to both the non-Tantric and Tantric forms of Mahayana Buddhism. The last five address
crucial topics in the Tantric tradition: entering the door to the Vajrayana by receiving
an initiation blessing; keeping pure the vows and pledges, which are the main cause for
achieving the goals of the practice; learning and practicing the two stages of
Anuttarayoga Tantra, which are the heart of the Tantric path; supporting teachers and
fellow practitioners, as well as overcoming one's own obstacles; and being watched over in
all one's future lives by a true spiritual guide so that you can quicly achieve the
ultimate goal of enlightenment.
